This kit combines the Foscam SD4H 4MP PTZ camera with an 80W solar panel, a 12V 25Ah LiFePO4 battery system and power for an CPE long range bridge so you can view your camera from your preferred location.

Off-Grid Power System Overview
This off-grid solar power kit provides a regulated 12V supply to power your camera and communications equipment, along with a 24V passive PoE outlet for compatible devices. It is designed for South African conditions and includes protective regulated power to help safeguard equipment from voltage variances.
Tested runtime: 1 camera + CPE (dark run): > 24 hours.

SPECIFICATIONS – Solar Mount

Setting angle: 45° for capturing the correct angle for the sun
Mounting pole (to be supplied by installer/customer for combination of solar panels and battery/control box): recommended minimum - 75mm x 3mm steel for 3metre above ground
NOTE: POLE is NOT INCLUDED in the kit and dimension are only a guideline. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that correct erection procedure for the pole is followed.

Solar panel mount set comes with: 1 upper bracket, 1 lower bracket, 2 x U-bolts (straps), 2 x M6 hex-head bolts, 4 x washers, 2 x M6 nyloc nuts, 2 x M6 hex-head bolts for solar panel, 4 x flat washers for solar panel, 2 x nyloc nuts for solar panel.
The cabinet has two LED indicators mounted on the underside for easy status observation, a green one that indicates the solar panel is functional, ie PV current is been generated and a orange one to indicate that the system is on and battery is operational. By standing at the base of the pole it offers a quick visual check on the status.

Installation: To the greatest extent possible, the installation site should allow unshaded exposure to the sun throughout daylight hours.

A CPE bridge refers to a setup where a Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) acts as a wireless receiver to connect a remote building or device (your camera) to your network. Essentially, it replaces a physical Ethernet cable by using a wireless link to bridge your local network.
Kit comes fitted with an outdoor CPE (a pair that are pre-paired for plug and play) that can cover upto 5km using the 5G spectrum.
