Great camera

Great camera, much better day and night performance versus my old Ubiquiti UVC G3's

Superb and easy to install

Best Foscam camera I have owned, been solar I could mount it on my boundary wall where I cant get power or a cable to easily. Picture quality is fantastic along with the audio, love the night colour vision and the spotlights are very effective, human detection seems to be the best I have encountered, almost no false alarms. As always the build quality is a cut above and a bonus is that I use it for light at hight when entering or exciting from my front gate, it lights up the entire garden from my front door to my exit gate. Been up for 5 months now and the battery has never gotten lower than 95%. The quality solar panel seams really effective and like the fact that its not attached to camera, makes placing the panel optimally for max sun a breeze. Took me all of 10 minutes to drill a few holes, mount and configure.<br /> <br /> Happy to recommend this cam to anyone.<br />

Superb

Needed a always on simple way to monitor traffic at our farm gate. Easy to install, just confirm the pole size with Foscam when you order so that you get the right size clamps.

Does the Job

Bought this online to monitor staff in my workshop. I wanted a crystal clear image as I have tried cheaper brands in the past. <br /> <br /> The whole experience was great, from purchase to the next day delivery. Craig helped me setup the 24/7 recoding to a SD card and I could not be happier with my purchase.<br /> <br /> Keep up the great service…<br />

Easy

This is my first Foscam product, but wont be my last. I wanted a easy to install (and remove as we rent) camera system for my small business. I did not want to have to install network cables only to leave them behind when we move.<br /> <br /> Delivery was super-fast, next day. I was a little nervous with installing this but with the guidance from support team at Foscam this turned out to be easier than I thought.<br /> <br /> One issue was powering the cameras, the supplied 12V power supply cable was not long enough for our needs. But on the advice from Foscam we just extended it using ripcord. <br /> <br /> Setup was easy as the cameras came pre-paired to the NVR’s Wi-Fi, so it was simply a matter of mount, power up and aim. One camera was a little far from the NVR’s Wi-Fi but again with the help of the Foscam team we quickly enabled the “Mesh” function and relayed from another camera, was amazed at the distance we got.<br /> <br /> Thank you for a great experience, will recommend your products.

Great Support, good product build.

Not the cheapest kit on the market but I think the mesh ability of the cameras more than makes up for it. Easy to deploy and use, a good no fuss product that gets the job done. <br /> <br /> But it was the support offered by Foscam when I ran into a few issues that sets them apart. I am now a product Foscam ambassador.<br />

Does the job

Having done extensive research online I settled on this unit from Foscam.<br /> <br /> The camera is a lovely little unit but think next time I will spend a little more for SD2X with more zoom.<br /> <br /> The solar for my area (NC) works great, have not had any down time in over 2 months since it’s been up.<br /> <br /> The app works great no matter where I am and I like the Foscam VMS software that I have on my laptop. <br /> <br /> Jut one thing, the u-clamp bracket is designed for a 50m diameter pole so if you have a bigger pole its best to let them know before you place your order.<br />

Well engineered

Nice piece of kit, well-engineered and light enough to self-mount. Not using a Foscam camera, my next purchase will kit the whole kit including the SD2X.
